SaaS Availability and Planned Downtime
The Government has indicated that inclusion of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) capabilities as part of the contest submission was acceptable. As this is a contest and not a high-availability deployment, the infrastructure on which we are hosting our SaaS has scheduled maintenance/downtime cycles. Is it correct to assume that the Evaluators will consider and account for routine maintenance/downtime if such schedules are provided as part of the submission?

Routine maintenance on SaaS hosts is accommodated within the testing protocols of the contest. Notification of any planned downtime must be provided at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the outage throughout the evaluation period.
