Manual Test Scripts for the Test 1 Phase

The contest documentation regarding the Test 1 phase mentions automated tests for the 8 use case scenarios to be implemented. Specifically, the rules state that “For the Test 1 phase, contestants are required to implement eight use case scenarios and to provide automated tests for them.” Is it possible to utilize manual as opposed to automated test scripts for the Test 1 phase?

    The evaluation process does not accommodate manual testing of the Step 1 use case scenarios. Successful execution of the eight automated test scripts specified in the rules is a requirement for a submission to receive further evaluation.
