Communication channel during the contest evaluation period?

During the contest eval period, what is the appropriate communication channel for events that the gov't needs to be notified of (e.g. planned downtime for OS patching in SaaS environments)?

    All communications with contest administration should be through private messages on the contest website.

    Private messages are available to the user id that made the registration submission.
